- Woke up at 7am for another morning surf session.
- Unfortunately when we arrived at the beach the waves were small and no one was in the water.
- We waited for 20 minutes, sitting on a piece of driftwood, for the swell to pick up. A few more surfers entered the water but they didn’t catch many rides so we decided to just return to Putu Guesthouse.
- It’s a moving day for us and our last day in Canggu.
- Canggu is an amazing place, much better than the Kuta tourist trap.
- We decided to celebrate with a special meal at Betelnut Cafe, one of the most popular restaurants in Canggu. I had avacado toast with poached eggs, bacon, fruit salad, and fresh tomato salsa. Cory had fully loaded French toast with a coconut to drink.
- We took a final look at a few of the shops in town, then returned to Putu Guesthouse for the final touches on our packing.
- We took an Uber to Sing Ken Ken hotel in the Legian area where we will be spending the next week courtesy of our amazing Mom.
- The afternoon was intensely hot and we were both low energy for some reason, so we spent the majority of the afternoon and evening relaxing in the air conditioned room.
- We grabbed dinner at a nearby Warung and later made a trip to the market for some fruit: Salak (nicknamed “snake fruit”), Mangosteen, and Passion Fruit.
- We fell asleep soon after munching everything down in our room.
